Pope Francis Children’s Home and School is a 501 c3 (IRS) For Purpose organization. It is a soon to be constructed Children’s Home and School in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa. The Home and School is being built in cooperation with the Catholic Diocese of Ho. The Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church will operate the facility.
Volunteer Youth Program Coordinator
Organizes, coordinates, and manages the recruitment of High School and College students. Develops and designs fundraising programs (assisted by Director). Skills required include: Leadership, Communication Proficiency, Organizational Skills, Teamwork Orientation, and Time Management. Will not have direct supervisory over the students. Ready to passionately help a startup For Purpose organization serve the vulnerable children of Ghana.
Communications and PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALISTS
Responsible for writing and assisting in the development and implementation of all communication and public relations. Generate news releases and communicate to media vendors. Track, monitor and evaluate PR strategies and media impressions. Support marketing and public relations efforts through research and analysis. Possess good writing skills and proofreading skills with an emphasis on copywriting, technical writing and press releases. Excellent time management traits. Ready to passionately help a startup FOR PURPOSE organization reach its goals to serve the vulnerable children of Ghana.
Education Core Curriculum Advisor
Responsible for researching the current education system in Ghana and developing a parallel Catholic curriculum. Duties will include providing several different curriculum’s that meet the needs of a startup Catholic school located in a developing nation. The purpose of the position is to help the Director and Administrator select a curriculum, which will enable the children to grow academically. Further duties include researching Catholic University Teaching Programs that outsource teachers on 1 and 2 year teaching missions. Skills required include: Leadership, Communication Proficiency, Teamwork Oriented, Time Management.
Coordinate and facilitate acquisition of all targeted items per organizations request. Items will include: equipment, services, and products. Skills include: Common Sense, Communication, Critical Thinking, Negotiation, Persuasion, Time Management, writing. Will work directly with Director to organize inventories, shipping and build lasting relationships with vendors.
